SharePix: The App I Built So Grandma Could See My Kid

SharePix app interface showing shared photo albums

As a new dad living far from home, I found myself constantly snapping photos of my little boy's life — playtime, nap time, dance moves, stroll around the neighborhood…

But the hardest part? Sharing them.

Every time I wanted to send a few pics, I had to forward them to three different family group chats — my parents, my grandma, my aunties. I'd upload to WhatsApp here, resend on Signal there, maybe toss a few into a random cloud folder, and pray I didn't forget anyone (spoiler: I always did).

That's when the idea for SharePix came to life.

What if sharing moments didn't mean playing courier? What if everyone could add their own photos to a shared album — no logins, no confusion? What if Grandma could browse baby pics on her phone without needing a tutorial?

So I built SharePix — a simple, private photo-sharing app where you can:

  • Create an album
  • Share a link
  • Let friends and family upload their own photos

No sign-ups. No chaos. Just one place for everyone's memories.

Whether you're a parent, planning the party of the century, going on a surf trip, or organizing a team event — SharePix makes it easy to curate memories together, all in one place.

It's free to get started. No account required to contribute.

Just beautiful, shared albums — created together.

And best of all? I haven't forwarded a photo since.
